Wrong part even though Amazon says it will work

This is not a bearing/hub for a 2010 S80 although Amazon says it will work. There are no screw-on flanges on the front wheel hubs.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Has problems

Not suitable. good for hub assemblies

Old bearing and hub assembly removed after a few hours. I screwed it on slightly and was ready to put everything back together, but the splines were too small to fit the driveshaft in them.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • not reliable

Bearings missing

Bought two in February for my 2006 S80, now through October both have excessive play and need replacing. At first I thought these were my ball joints but they are one piece and only move with the wheel and rotor so there is play from the wheel bearings.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • So so

Don't buy this. Dangerous!

Installed on my 98 Volvo S70. Within 1/4 mile the car started acting strange. After stopping and removing the wheel/brake I found that this new wheel bearing had snapped in half. Very dangerous. Don't buy this. But what better.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Functionality

I think it's good for the money

Fits well. One of the two I bought had a slight "creak" when I first installed it. I was afraid I would have to replace. It disappeared after about 50 km. The last 1000 km passed without problems. Work is more of a concern than a part. We'll see how it holds up, but so far it's good enough. A big plus is that it comes with "torque" screws. Update: 10,000 km to go and both are still calm.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Periodicity
