It doesn't really stay in the window too well because of the weight of the tubes. But it works for now! Planning to get a plexiglass insert instead

So glad I purchased this before the summer heatwave in Europe this year. I have been enjoying my nice air conditioned room every night thanks to this item. It was super easy for me to install by myself. I took one star off because in the super hot months the glue on the back of the Velcro strips would melt off. But it was still easy to refix and get back to work.

Absolutely no instructions but can be figured out. Used on a window in a condo right on the water in Honolulu. The window was cleaned well but the tape came off within 24 hours.

I really was skeptical with purchasing this but wasn't too sure what to do for filling the gap in a large side opening window so thought I'd give it a try. I am very glad I did! It was the perfect solution for filling in the space on this large window. The item doesn't come with any instructions but I remember that one of the product images is the instructions so if you purchase and are not sure how to install just refer to that image. We loved this item right up until the adhesive melted from the sun & started blowing the hot air back into the room. Not only did it defeat the purpose but it made a huge sticky mess to clean up.

I loved the idea of this product. However, it came from China with instructions that were very confusing as they were clearly written by one who had a poor grasp of English making installation prohibitive. It does not work for my casement window which is a crank window that pushes outward. Also this item was identified as eligible for prime shipping with no statement that return shipping would incur a charge. It did not hold up to the wind, especially on an outward opening window. There is no support for the weight of the hose. The zipper arrangement easily allows bugs in around the hose.

We put it in the window it held but one strong wind and it broke off letting in more then 20 mosquitoes making me break out in allergic reaction so bad my arms swelled up 5 times there normal size and I had to be heavily medicated for more then 3 weeks before it all stopped. I don't recommend this item strong wind will rip it off to easy.

This product works great. It was very easy to install. It under represents itself because it works GREAT for a sliding glass door as you can see in the photograph. Purchased 2 for crank out windows to use portable AC units. Does not stay on window frame. Does not seal around tubing. Lets bugs in. Does not look nice in windows. Great idea. Needs more thought to make it better.

This product has been a life saver. I have a room that I could not use window units. I was skeptical to purchase this I figured it would be a hassle with the glue. Honestly it does the job. I have only had issues with the glue loosening twice and next to the exhaust pipe. I assume it's the heat from the exhaust. I wish it was held together with velcro to prevent this issue. I did not really expect this to work but to my surprise it works really well and creates a nice seal so that hot air and bugs do not get in. 4 stars only because it is vey unattractive. From outside it looks like you stuffed sheets in your windows and from inside it just looks messy. I'll take that they for being able to run my portable AC with casement windows when it is 99 degrees outside.

This is what you've been looking for in order to seal those special types of windows (The ones that have a crank handle and open out!") It works great and it's a tight seal. Now with my "Coldfront" portable AC im staying cool in LA I love it you'll love it too!

I lost the window piece of my portable AC and was unable to find the replacement. This is just a long plastic cloth with zippers and it is attached to the window with double sided tape. It functioned as intended.

It does the job. Doesn't come with any instructions and if you aren't handy like me, that can be frustrating. The cover itself also can't be cut or altered to fit the window best but I still made it work. Doesn't look great but just have my blinds covering it. It gets the job done and in a place with no AC and a need for it, this was a good purchase.

If you want to install a portable air conditioner and have those annoying windows that only swing out a little ways with a crank then you’ll need this. Last year I jury rigged something with tape and cardboard; this works much better since you can easily remove or reinsert the AC exhaust depending on the weather.
