These brushes are a godsend for me. I underwent a VERY traumatic dental procedure consisting of tooth extraction and bone grafting that resulted in a horrific infection. the dentist REFUSED ME RX for proper painkillers (I'm VERY allergic to NSAIDs, dentist advised me to take Motrin, ended up in the ER with a reaction) Dentist REFUSED any antibiotics (I had a fever), bleeding from the surgical site, nausea, vomiting . swollen throat My husband took me to a heaven sent dentist who helped me…

Perfect for cleaning around my bridge

My dentist recommended it and gave me a sample to clean around my bridge. They are easy to use and fit into the tightest of spaces. They bend fairly easily, so it takes a bit of effort to dig the bristles into the backmost upper teeth without bending the brush. I use one about 3 or 4 times and give it a good clean before it bends too much and has to be thrown away. Love the fact that each one comes with a lid so you can carry it in your purse or pop it in your glove box.

My favorite intradental toothbrush

This is my favorite interdental brush cleaner. I tried several other brands, some had too much metal and not enough brush, they were too small (hard to hold), some didn't have a lid. I needed to find a product that was very comfortable to use and would greatly improve my ability to clean between my teeth. In fact, my dentist noticed the difference - a huge improvement - and asked me what I use to improve the cleanliness between my teeth! I told her I use these Proxbrushes when I watch TV at…

I've been using them for years and have made my gums healthy again

I suspect they are more effective than floss although I use both. I keep the medium and small in a shot glass filled with hydrogen peroxide, which I also add to the water in my Water Pic and use as a mouthwash. I have been using this dental procedure for years and as a result my gums from deep pockets are back in perfect shape! Note: Hydrogen Peroxide decomposes in daylight, so it comes in a dark brown bottle. So if you're using it in a shot glass for Proxbrushes, be sure to change the peroxide

GUM "trees " for gum health

I find it much better than flossing, although it takes time to get used to it. I recommend starting with a thinner size and moving up to a wider one. GUM now makes a handle and you can use brushes individually. It's cheaper and the long, toothbrush-like handle is easier to use. I recommend buying a few brushes of different widths (I call them "trees") and then investing in a pen and more "trees" in the width you need. My dental hygienist introduced them to me because I have a bridge and they…

Great for outdoor dental flossing and flossing

I bought these to take with me camping, hiking, kayaking etc. I'm picky about my dental care, but it's not always possible to brush after every brushing and flossing. one-off meals in the fresh air. They are excellent for this purpose. For my teeth/gums, this particular size is still a very tight fit. I spoke to my dentist about these at my last appointment and he said to be careful because they can actually cause the gum line to recede. He said if I meet resistance I shouldn't use them between

Probably not less than

The product appears to be of good quality but the extra narrow size/caliber is no different from the "narrow" size ie. They don't fit better between the teeth if you have very closely spaced teeth. If you are concerned about recycling, you should be aware that there is a lot of plastic used in food packaging and manufacturing. Don't think it can be recycled.

Doctor Recommends Dental Floss

Received small size samples after my last cleaning showed imminent gum problems. This size fits about half my teeth so I ordered ultra skinny tights. They fit all but 2. I wish they were a little smaller. The brush comes in easily but I have to work to get it out between 1 set. Overall I am very impressed with what they get after flossing. Who would have thought so much would be left behind? After 3 months of use I will be re-examined and will report the results. Update 01/18/17: I seem to have

Fly away! - Dental Floss

I bought these specifically for my lower front teeth which are slightly V-shaped and have always been a problem area for me. I used to have regular hard brushes which I liked. They are almost too small for my small gaps between my bottom front teeth. These brushes are designed for very narrow teeth, so I feel like they slide into my gaps too easily - ok, we'll see. As for using it on all teeth - I can't. I can only attach them to the bottom 9 front teeth. (But I didn't expect more). Conclusion…

Yes, they are really great for narrow teeth and problem areas!

I bought these to use with my extremely narrow back teeth and I have to say they work really well for narrow teeth. I also have some dental work that makes flossing the back of my mouth almost impossible, and these in-between cleans make a world of difference. The last time I went to the dentist for a teeth cleaning, the hygienist told me that it was obvious that my dental work was interfering with my teeth cleaning because that was the area where there was a lot of tartar. Not being able to…
