Worked great! Easiest thing I've made this year!

Instructions included and as soon as I put the batteries in and pressed the power button it worked straight away! The only drawback was that no batteries were included. You need 2 AAA batteries. Make sure to include some of these when ordering this remote control. Also, full instructions were included in case it didn't automatically sync to your TV, which I think would help compared to other remotes I've ordered (no instructions were included). UPDATE: Good replacement for the standard remote control

Buttons are hard to press. I like the coloring and layout better than my original Sharp Aquos remote. If the buttons worked, we'd be in business. You have to push very hard and aim for it to work. We will keep it as a backup for emergencies. But it failed as an OEM remote replacement. UPDATE: After over a year of use, the remote control is still working. It either got better over time or I got used to it. The buttons might have been a bit cramped at first, but now they seem to work much better.

Works on my old Aquos LCD

I have an older 26" Sharp Aquos in my bedroom and the remote has stopped working for some reason. Most of the remotes I've found didn't have a 'Sleep' button. Works on my old Aquos LCD

A simple replacement for the original Sharp remote control. However, mine failed on the 31st day.

This is a surprisingly easy replacement for a regular Sharp remote. No programming required. Insert the included AAA batteries and you're good to go. Easy. Edited: After 31 days of use, this remote has failed. Interestingly, this failed on the day the return period ended. How convenient. I changed the batteries but it doesn't work.
