Firstly it also fits N52 328i/xi/iX cars. I installed it on my 2007 328xi with no problems and it fits perfectly. As mentioned, the fit is tight. The original fitting it replaced literally crumbled in my hand when removed. I measured the inside diameter of the fitting and it is slightly smaller than the plastic fitting it replaces otherwise it would have received five stars.

A great simple solution. My factory plastic plug was almost completely rusted on my 2006 325i with 174,000 miles. The o-ring in this kit provides a very tight fit to the body. I tried a couple of times to get it all the way in and I lubricated the o-ring but it still didn't work so I just screwed it in but it doesn't leak so I guess it's ok. I needed to get my car repaired quickly and that helped.

Brilliant design and very affordable price. This part helped me not to buy the whole coolant hose and remove it from the bottom end. My old one only failed on the top part so I just installed that part on top and attached the existing hose. Works perfect. It's a little tricky to install the rubber gasket into the engine block, but I simply installed the two mounting bolts and slowly tightened each side evenly back and forth. Super fast repair, works great and won't crack again like OEM plastic.

This is a very well made replacement for the traditional corroded plastic stock. Don't worry about installing with the included o-ring. This is an oversized and cheap rubber that doesn't fit properly. After lubricating and installing I took a mirror and looked at the underside where there is no screw and indeed there is a gap where the o-ring refuses to compress enough to fit properly. I just got around to replacing the OEM plastic water hose fitting with this one. The earlier OEM is prone to failure (breaking), so replace it with a more durable one if necessary. This spare part is all metal except of course the rubber O-ring. The processing is really good. The only downside is the o-ring is larger than the OEM. It was a VERY close landing.
