I had a Hakko single coil and it was great. It has some issues that I wish they would fix, and this dual version has everything better except for the plastic spools, which isn't a big deal. I've always used solder wire to bend the wire so I end up with a stick. I have found that I use this device to cut solder strips rather than pull them straight out because it gets the job done. It is sturdy and has a decent weight. But I don't like plastic wheels. I was hoping they would be held on both sides of the metal but they have a thicker interior holding them.
