Bought to make the trip from New York to Texas and back to tow my 28ft dump truck smoothly. I opted for a wired setting to ensure a good picture at all times. Changing lanes was a breeze and made the long drive easy. It worked great from morning to night. And at the end of each day, long after sunset, the picture was clear enough to last for several hours.

This was the second camera monitor configuration that I have purchased. It was the right choice. I installed this on a Kubota M4 tractor. A camera on the loader views the bucket to facilitate attaching attachments and using forks. The other looks back to see the driveshaft, hitch, wheels and attachments. Installation was relatively easy for anyone having used on a variety of vehicles from a 1999 Freightliner through to a 2016 International chassis. Just mount the camera, run a cable between them and mount the monitor. The sound leaves a lot to be desired, but the picture quality is excellent. Although I really like this camera, it is easy to install, has many options like mirroring, which is what I wanted. I use it on a tractor to see the front loader bucket and especially the forks (you can buy extra cameras for the rear view etc and just switch between them or use the split screen). Two problems, probably due to my skills: 1) I need to figure out how to route the connection cable behind the dash in the 2019 RAM. The dealer helped with this - pull two screws / console forward and there is enough space.
