We have two cats, one is about 10 pounds and the other is 13 pounds. Both fit in and it seems surprisingly sturdy. At first our cats didn't want to use it but then we threw a blanket over it to make it cozier and that changed everything. Now they sleep on it all the time. Very good product.

The seller, after reading some of the reviews, contacted me to ask about the connectors and offered to send me the new connectors they had designed to solve the existing problem. I bought this for our maine coon kittens who are only 6 months old and weigh over 10 pounds each. I'm disappointed I didn't measure the window I installed it in before I bought it. I ended up putting it on a slider one of theirs sleeps on it all the time and I don't feel good I have to move it so we can go out the door in the summer lol.
