The stitching in this product will unravel before the weight is applied! I don't trust it even before I installed it. i will send it back

I'm not using these on a jeep or even a car but they appear to be well made and durable. Installation was easy, the grip is comfortable and everything works well.

My wife and I are getting a little older. They worked fine on my TJ, roll cage. They provide good grip points to entertain taxis, I no longer fear falling when getting in or out of the jeep.

I've had them for a year now and although they work for a while they don't last long. If, like me, you love to ditch your top as often as the weather permits, the sun will tear it apart. One of the handles fell apart completely and broke after just a year of use. Not the best long term product.

I installed the front handle on the driver's side. I grabbed him to lean against the car to get something from the center console. The handle is completely torn off on one side. I didn't even put all my weight into it. I just had knee surgery so I would be in big trouble if I actually used them to brace myself. You get what you pay for!

I ordered these because they don't distract much from the colored padding on the roll bar. They had several bad reviews due to stitching. I didn't see any problems there, but when I fastened them, two buckles broke. The plastic is thin and of poor quality. Not recommended for serious off-road use. They break with every use of force. Luckily I bought 8 and will only use it for young children.

They look good and are pretty safe. The 3 star rating is due to the minimal number of seams and the way the material is wrapped. This does not last long and should not be used for safe vehicle access. A few seams have come undone. All in all, if you're looking for a bright accent, this is a good choice. If you need stable and reliable help for your car, not so much. UPDATE: One of the handles broke at the minimum weight. I delete them all because they pose a security risk.

To be honest those nylon strap grips aren't great at best. They look cool but after 1 summer without a top they've pretty much faded on the sunny side. And about 3 days ago, while getting into a jeep, the nylon ripped completely. It became so brittle that I could easily tear it. Most likely he will rip off the other 3 handles so the next person who gets into my jeep doesn't end up in the mud because the handle suddenly detaches from broken nylon.
