This is a nice little product. Unfortunately, the length of the screw is not long enough for a practical application requiring a 10-20 pound hanging weight. It may not be that screw long enough to go through plaster or drywall and then an inch or more into a rack. The screw is only an inch long. You need to include a longer screw. I've been looking for a long time for an attractive hook that could be used in the concrete ceiling of my second floor apartment. This turned out to be a great choice. We have a hanging lamp from IKEA, but we wanted to 'show off' it so it can be moved as we move the table and lengthen it for dinner parties. We purchased additional Hangman Products BCD-10 Deouble Headed Bear Claw Hanger (10 Pack) screws so we have four mounting points on the ceiling for two screws. I love them. I bought this a while ago to hang a flower box from the ceiling in my bedroom. I was afraid to put it on because screwing something to the walls is always such a hassle. I was very pleased and shocked at how easy they are to install. All you need is a screwdriver and the dowels snap into place with ease. Love this swivel hook and it looks lovely but lacks instructions, no extra hardware like Molly or extra hardware in case you screw up (which I did). You have to get it right the first time! Therefore, according to some comments, it is necessary to pre-drill a smaller hole than the plastic anchor provided. 2 sizes of Phillips screwdrivers are required for this installation.
