DO NOT BUY. - Hubs and controllers

I bought two of these. The first one didn't work so I installed a replacement, it happens. The replacement came a few days later and had the exact same problem, wouldn't turn on at all and yes I used the correct power supply (from another LED controller). Returned both for a full refund and ordered another brand which also uses the Magic House app and launched after about 2 minutes. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Works well good for electrics

Works well. I bought this on January 12, 2021 and installed it straight away. It's July 4th and it's still working. I even thought it was cheap or it works. I can control my lights with my Echo Show along with the Magic Home App. To set it up, you have to unplug and plug it in three times and wait for the lights to flash. Nowhere in the listing was this specifically mentioned. Overall it works well and I'm happy with it.

Poor customer service

I wanted to connect this to my LED strip which was no problem. The problem is that this device and the documentation doesn't say which center pin is positive or negative for the power plug. The case has + and - painted on each side of the bezel, but they don't match the connector type. When I asked support for clarification, they said it doesn't matter what happens when constant voltage is used. So I had to take care of it myself.

It doesn't show up in WiFi settings and once failed to pair.

I've been trying to connect my device to my phone for the past few days. I tried to find a product popup on my wifi but it doesn't work. I saw the product on my wifi as soon as i selected it and it wouldn't connect to my wifi or phone after that and i never saw it again. It was very frustrating and it still doesn't seem to show up, all of its usage was connected to my phone which it can't. I want a refund for this product so I can purchase another one that actually works.

Doesn't reliably do what it's designed to do!

I am testing this so others can make an informed decision about whether or not to buy this product. I've had it for about a year and have only used it a couple of times because it rarely connects to the app. I've had issues where it completely rebooted and had to go through everything and set it up again. It has always been unreliable for me and it may be because I received a faulty product, I will not disagree. I just tried to connect to the light controller but it didn't connect. I restarted…
