I bought this unit to keep track of my outboard motor run time and to know exactly when it needs servicing. Hooking it up was very easy and the included instructions were sufficient. I connected mine to the boat remote so I could see the clock at a glance. I would recommend this to anyone who has a small engine such as a lawn mower, outboard motor, motorcycle etc who has maintenance requirements based on engine hours.

Bought for a lawn mower. It has features that weren't advertised with a separate reset button. There are no instructions on how to use this feature on their website or on the packaging, so I deducted a star. I guess a timer is shared and a timer is a resettable trip counter, but I haven't used it yet. It's nice to get more than just straight time. Ease of installation. Only time will tell how long it will last but for now I'm happy with this motorhome.

I recently bought a new boat with new prime movers and new kicker motors. I installed them to keep track of service times. Installation was very easy. Just wrap a few turns around the connector wire, tie to keep the turns from unraveling, and that's it. I've been using it for a few hours and it seems to be showing the time correctly. I bought this to use on my zero turn lawnmower so I can accurately account for mowing time. I found the downside that it is not highlighted. I often have to mow after dark to take care of all my customers.
