Do not use a screw! Don't be stupid :)

Do not use a screw to install the damper! Use this (or a similar) bolt (not me, use a metal bolt :) especially if you're wearing a high dollar ATI shock.

Works on my LS balancer.

I used this with my harmonic balancer bearing, worked great. I didn't have to use a bearing, I just don't care if the washers rub against each other even if they work fine.

It worked great on a LS1 truck engine.

Worked great on LS1 truck engines. Yes, it seems a little high for a piece of thread, two washers and a nut. However, it's definitely better than me having to go out and pick the right thread pattern.

Came bent cannot be used

I bought this while looking for all army building tools in October. Unfortunately, I didn't get to the harmonic balancer setup until April. I pull it out of the plastic to see if the stem is bent. I tried to install anyway. I can't even get in. Despite the fact that 18 months are written, it is impossible to contact the seller. Don't buy this!

Great tool but not used before.

Be sure to purchase a second nut and washers before use. The tool will most likely get stuck in the crankshaft and it will be necessary to use a second nut to lock the first to get the tool out. Additionally, my aftermarket 8-rib Summit SFI pulley locks the tool with the included shims (not a factory pulley, so I can't get too worked up about that, FYI). Also, the tool was easy to use, I would highly recommend it to any LS enthusiast. If I could recommend the seller please add 2 more washers…

Good quality tool. Inexpensive removal and installation of harmonic balancers.

This is a simple tool but it makes removing and installing the Harmonic Balancer easier. Using a three arm puller on an OEM harmonic balancer, I was able to remove the balancer without drama. To install the harmonic balancer, I apply grease between the thick washers and tighten the nut, making sure the balancer is straight. If you don't have a deep bushing you can get more washers or use larger washers (with enough holes to let the M16 bolt through) or another large bushing. This fully…
