If I could give zero stars I would understand why they are so cheap glad there are 10 of them because 3 are already broken and just trying to install

These doorstops are great value for money. A few of these arrived broken in my package, but that's okay, the price is right and I wouldn't use all ten anyway.

They are easy to install and generally well made, but the end caps sometimes fall off, for example when vacuuming. They are easy to put back on but are still uncomfortable.

The threaded part is a separate piece that is pressed into the body of the spring base. - I can't figure out how to upload a photo :( - 4 out of 10 broke off while tightening. I've tried different tightening methods including pre-drilling holes but didn't get a reliable result. Accidental hit will cause disintegrate Too cheap!

Item works but the design is very flimsy and difficult to tighten without breaking (the spring sticks to the screw with a weak pinch). In addition, the article does not close flush with the wall. I will specifically avoid this product if I need a similar item in the future and will not use leftover stock. However, if you are extremely careful, they seem to get the job done.

So I ordered 20 for a house we were renovating for sale. I ended up having to send 10 of these back because they broke during installation or the rubber caps didn't stay on. The thread on them is a small round post with star shaped ribs pressed into the main body. These star-shaped ribs detach from the main body when you tighten them. Out of the 10 I thought were good, 3 eventually broke and I had to weld them to JB Weld just to get through the sale.
