My Sunny Loves It - Birds

This product was recommended by my vet for my canary. The instructions said to just "sprinkle" some of the food he was already eating and then increase it a little until my bird got used to eating it. Well my sunshine loved it! Once he tastes it, he'll poke around in his seed to find that food. I feel good knowing the vet is great and would only recommend the best for my Sunny. We are both happy campers. Thanks for a great product.

Product expired Month of purchase

The product itself is EXCELLENT. I've been buying this for my cockatoos for years to make sure they're getting their vitamins. The problem is that I bought this (at a higher price, I might add) only to find out when I opened it this morning that the expiration date was "best used by September 2021". months (I mix food for my birds with people). The return period has already expired and I opened it. VERY disappointed with my purchase (not the product) I bought and received the product in…

The bag is big and the birds love it!

I'm new to this type of food and I don't know how to feed it, so I gave some to the parrots. You didn't eat it. It's like a powder. Then I tried sprinkling some seeds with regular seeds and they ate them. I'm sad it only lasted about a week because I didn't store it properly. It was starting to smell sour so I almost threw the whole bag away. I read in the comments that one person put it in the fridge and another said no, it stayed fresh on a shelf in the pantry for a year and with my setup it…

This is the ONLY bird seed you should buy.

Harrison's is what EVERY vet I've met recommends. I have used Harrison's exclusively on my various parrots and birds for 20 years. Harrison's APPROVES THEIR PRODUCTS. A few years ago I had a "problem" with a 25 pound bag - it's entirely possible that I caused contamination by emptying the bag into a large sealed storage container. However, Harrison replaced the item and kindly reminded me that the bags are sealed and food is best kept in unopened bags. So I'm a regular customer. Shopping spree.

No mix! in Essen

I recently adopted a rescued budgie that some guys found at work. She seemed a little weak and tense (probably from the exposure). The boys gave her semen (the only thing they had back then) before giving it to me. Luckily she didn't touch the seeds, but luckily I had some Roundybush pellets on hand. To my surprise, she swallowed them right away, but I wanted to give her Harrison High Potency Pellets to boost her immune system. I got the puree because she is so small and was hoping she would…

Miracle product: Food

I have an eleven year old budgie with a very sensitive tummy. He was panting from the bread. Despite the fact that I bought him organic fruits and vegetables and washed them thoroughly before giving them to him, something made him very uncomfortable (he vomited uncontrollably every night). After speaking to the vet and getting recommendations that due to my bird's age and condition, he is unlikely to survive treatment, I have resigned myself to making these last few days as comfortable as…
