Fun game but a bit difficult for kids

I played this game with my 8 and 9 year old boys, it was fun but some tasks are too hard for them. May be better for older children or adults.

Rainy day fun

I bought it to play with my sons (11 and 5 years old). We had a great time playing with it and really enjoyed it. It's annoying that you can't skip the video, but it doesn't spoil the game. The game takes a long time, so we changed the rules a bit; If you find yourself with an artifact in our game, you no longer need to exit to try again. The 5-year-old was a bit up for the ride - it requires some skill and is more suited to older children - but enjoyed being a part of it all.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Great family fun for games and accessories

We are big fans of Indiana Jones and we really enjoy playing this game. When we first played it was a bit difficult to get comfortable with, but you get hours of entertainment once you get the hang of it. Real scenes from the film are used, which adds to the suspense. Players must make strategic decisions that will help young children develop critical thinking. I highly recommend reading the instructions before playing and keeping them for reference while playing.

Great game, skip the DVD

Before the escape board game, there was this indy board game. Temple Tiles, Traps, Treasures, Villains, and Rival Explorers all in one set! All game components are of good quality. The cutscenes for the first three Indy movies on DVD are nice to watch but get bogged down in gameplay and become redundant, especially once you've learned all the answers to the trap puzzles. However, for true board game lovers, there is an answer. There are several variations that use dice instead of DVD. This…

Great adventure on a rainy day

Bought this for my son last year when he came to Indiana Jones. We just played it again and I have to say it's a great game. Once you get the hang of this, which is a lot easier than it sounds, it's going to be a lot of fun. You discard tiles as you journey through the adventure. Then when you get to the artifact, you'll need to complete a challenge (or two or three) to get that artifact. Once all the artifacts are collected, you must run back to the ancestral hall while the DVD tells you which

Not for children! - Games and Accessories

Our 8 year old son is a big fan of the Lego Wii game Indiana Jones. Although my husband and I are also big fans of the films, we feel that they are not appropriate for him until he is 11 years old. That being said we were very happy we bought this DVD game for our son as it is clearly labeled as a 'family friendly' game for ages 8+ so we assumed the scenes from the film would be appropriate for 8 year olds would be suitable. You are not! It's actually a lot worse because the movie scenes are…
