The original parts have been completely replaced and are a little stronger than needed but work great with the original parts.

Good value for spares

I could have used a better manual to ensure I was using them correctly but other than that I am happy with the product and performance.

Failed after 2 months

Normally installed, but suddenly lost durability after 2 months, worse than a replaced pair. Unfortunately I threw them away. Otherwise I would send the old pair back.

Fits 1999 Lexus RX 300

I thought it was a problem because I couldn't fold the tailgate pillar by hand. I put it on and it works great, easy install in 15 minutes. There is a right and a left side. They are listed on the counter. Much luck
