Type of review

I have tried other brands (okay cheaper) but I just love how the Hayabusa shin guards fit so well. Comfortable and lots of protection.I feel like I could chop down a tree! And they look cool which is so important when training:)Actually, I bought a pair for myself and was so impressed that I am buying my daughters Hayabusa's too. This pair was less expensive since I bought it used from Walmart. There was supposed to be an imperfection but I couldn't find it. It looks brand new!Did I mention…

Pros
  • Excellent quality!
Cons
  • While the low-profile design of the shin guards makes them less bulky, it may also compromise the level of protection offered to the shin and ankle

Best shin guards ever.

Perfect for both standup Striking and for grappling and MMA. Only one con on these ever and it’s getting them off because they fit so well and stay in place.

Pros
  • My daughter in law is starting kickboxing and she loved getting these for Christmas.
Cons
  • The levels of protection offered by the Hayabusa Tokushu Low Profile MMA Shin Guards may not meet the standards required for competitive MMA fights

Dosent move.fits great. Favorite shin pads

Super light but generously padded. I saw people saying the wouldnt sparr with these but i could go 70%-80% comfortably with out worring about hurting me or my partner.hard getting on and off, some times i wear my mediocre ones, but when they're on NOTHING! will make these guys lose position .They do get a little easier taking off or more you become better at taking them off.

Pros
  • Best shin guards ever
Cons
  • The shin guards may slip down during use, causing distractions and potential injury

Work well for mma and thai boxing

I've had these for over three years now and they are still going. Use them for thai boxing and mma sparring and they work very well. I especially like them for mma as the sleeve design makes grappling much easier vs shin guards with velcro.

Pros
  • Love them!
Cons
  • It was a gift to my wife, she love it, but they are really hard to remove.

These shin guards are great. I am using them for sparring

These shin guards are great. I am using them for sparring, as opposed to grappling. These guards pull on as opposed to strapping on, which is good and bad, but mostly good. They don't move around AT ALL while you are sparring, but they are a pain to take off once you get sweaty (which is pretty much instantly). They are well padded, well built and an all around good buy.

Pros
  • ‎18 x 6 x 4 inches
Cons
  • The Hayabusa Tokushu Low Profile MMA Shin Guards may not match the stylistic preferences of all users, particularly those who favor more colorful or personalized gear

Excellent Shin Protection & Quality

I've had these shin guards for about a year now and really approve them. They offer a lot of protection and are high quality material. The only improvement I'd like to see is the stability on the shin. During sparring they do slide around a little bit and need adjustment. However, I've used other shin guards that were terrible about sliding. These aren't so bad and with the excellent shin protection they're a great buy. I'd buy Hayabusa Fight Gear any day; great quality.

Pros
  • ‎Hayabusa
Cons
  • The low-profile design may not accommodate for users who require additional support around the knee and ankle

Great protection and fit

Stay on well even during sparring which was the main benefit of getting sleeved shin guards over the strapped ones. Consequently they are harder to take off and air out but it's a good trade off. Good protection as well. Overall great shin guards

Pros
  • Good and durable. However white definitely needs more maintenance than other colors
Cons
  • The Hayabusa Tokushu Low Profile MMA Shin Guards are relatively expensive, making them less accessible to budget-conscious buyers

awesome heavy duty best in my review

awesome heavy duty, thick cushioning, more for your training partner than you. XL, I have 18 inch calves, they fit well Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Great fit great quality and arrived on time
Cons
  • The design may not accommodate for people with wider calves or legs, leading to a less secure fit

I have a large now and I love sparring in these

After about 8 months of using these now, I have to say at one point i forgot i was even wearing shin guards while sparring. Make sure to get a larger size than you think you are. It really will make the difference between regret and rejoice in purchasing these shin guards.I had a medium but i had to return it. It took wayyyy too long to put them on and off. I have a large now and I love sparring in these.I'm 5"6 medium sized asian guy. Great shin guards. Looks nice too.

Pros
  • 👊💪👍
Cons
  • The sizing of the Hayabusa Tokushu Low Profile MMA Shin Guards is limited, which may not accommodate those with larger or smaller leg sizes

Fantastic shin guards

Fantastic shin guards. Stays in place, during sparring I rarely if ever have to adjust my shin guards while my partners tend to need adjustment at least once or twice a round. The neoprene sleeve, while a bit stiff at first, breaks in after a few uses and poses no problems with putting the guards on or taking off.

Pros
  • Godt
Cons
  • I'm 5'2 and these and the small are way too big
