Hazet 850 E8 Socket Square Torx Review

Based on our own experience, we found this socket to be quite disappointing in its performance. While it was marketed as a tool for automotive work, we struggled to get it to fit properly on Torx bolts. The size seemed slightly off, which caused unnecessary frustration and delays in our work. On the positive side, it is made with quality materials and has a durable feel. However, the frustration of not fitting properly overshadowed any benefits.

Trying to install an E8 3/8" drive head in hard-to-reach places doesn't always work. This Hazet E8 with 1/4" drive solves that problem.

I have a good set of Gearwrench Torx sockets and they work well for most applications but when precision is key. I use them on engines where an extra pound or two of torque can strip a bolt and a removed head can add hours to a project. When accuracy is important, I always choose Stahlwille, Gedore, or Hazet.
