GoPro and Action Camera Headrest Mount by Tackform – 10.75 Inches Review

At first I don't know why "warmth" is one of the criteria considered. The entire assembly is metal except for the small knobs used to tighten each connection. I can't say enough good things about it. The quality is amazing and it's incredibly durable. Worth the purchase price. Video quality is stable with minimal shaking.

Just tried this thing out with my GoPro H7B in a car with VERY hard PBM coilovers. I attached it to the driver's seat as a precaution to make sure someone was sitting on the seat so it wouldn't wobble. The thing is reliable and does its job well. I like the attitude too. Allows me to center the camera where I want. The seat turned out to be a much better place to mount the camera than either of the windows.

Better than all the alternatives - and I've searched a lot. I use it to record the flight in the cockpit. I can confirm that the video is stable despite severe aircraft vibrations during takeoff and climb. For future versions, I suggest a longer bolt with a quick-release aluminum cam lever, or a larger knurled nut for faster assembly/disassembly without an Allen key. Also a double screw to attach the camera instead of a single screw as it can be difficult to tighten.

Secure mount. My only complaint has more to do with the fact that I'm using my session with GoPro Hero 5. I've been working a lot with a few GoPro tech support guys and I keep getting the same audio issues. The mounting arm itself is stable once installed. However, attaching the armrest to the headrest using the included tools and clamp method is no easy task. The ball-point hex key makes tightening the clamping mechanism much easier. I would have preferred to see some sort of quick release mechanism rather than 4 bolts. The build quality and finish is equal or better than most sports and luxury cars, so it doesn't stand out as much. On the downside, this guy can get some great angles that typically can't be mounted on a suction cup and seems to produce a much more stable shot.
