Disappointment - Yarn

While crocheting a plaid I encountered a large tear in the yarn and a dark stain. I need to cut about 12 inches of yarn. Yarn is currently hard to find due to COVID 19 which has left shelves empty.

One of Red Hearts Better Yarns

Not a big fan of Red Hearts yarn other than their boutique yarn and this one. in big stores and a slight sheen is very nice. The choice of colors is not huge, but overall very pleasant shades.

Satisfied with the purchase

Color as in the photo. The yarn is as soft as any acrylic yarn. I haven't seen a split yet. I really like how much yarn you get in each skein. Update: After using three skeins, there were a lot of knots and tangles in each skein, making it very difficult to feed yarn from the middle. I hope Red Heart will find a better way to wrap their yarn in the future.

The quality has gone down and it's obvious when you look at the blanket I'm making

The first few times I got this yarn everything was fine. But I've noticed that the last few times it's getting very blurry. You can tell by looking at the quilt I'm making. Also, there were some cases where more than one knot was formed in the middle of the roll when connecting two parts. The photo is the latest I have. I took off the sleeve and found that part of it was cut open and not even tied together. Fortunately, it can still be used, although there will be more trouble. But I think I'll
