I ordered this phone for my mother who has poor eyesight. The buttons are large and easily visible. Setting up auto redial was easy. I think it's easy for her to use it because she calls me more often now! I didn't like how bright it was. I don't want it to be very heavy but it feels like it will fall apart if dropped. So far, so good. Just take a look.

Update: My mother's phone stopped working properly after about a month. She can answer calls but cannot make calls. The return date was April 29, so less than 2 weeks had passed. Elderly people may find it more difficult to use and will not slide off the table. Other than that, it's functional enough, big numbers, and not difficult for my 90-year-old mother with macular degeneration.

Bought for mom, she loves it. It works well. The handset cord is longer than your old phone and the volume is louder. But one thing you should know, this phone is a wall mount, but you need to check if it is compatible with your wall mount. I have attached the picture for reference. All in all, this is a good boost phone for seniors with low vision.

Bought this phone for my 88 year old mother over a year ago. The audio was blurry but was able to hold a conversation. 8 months later the background noise came and went but I thought it was the phone line. nope A few months later, after all the lines were connected to the phone company, there was so much background noise on the phone that I couldn't hear my mother at all. The phone will now only beep, which you cannot turn off. Does anyone make a product that lasts longer? I would not recommend

I was looking for a basic hands free landline phone - I had no idea how difficult it would be, especially after reading product reviews and seeing how many others in the market don't linger . So far I am very happy with this phone. The speakerphone works well and is easy to use. There is a high and low volume setting. Wow my elderly dad likes the big buttons on this phone and that's the only positive thing I can say! Immediately after unpacking, there is a regular loud beep when making calls. I think we tied it to him turning up the volume in his head so that he gets close to his mouth and beeps, but when the volume is turned down he can't hear anyone.
