The filter is not the one in the photo. The one I got for the Durango didn't fit the pot tube I got was more in the middle and not on the side like in the picture.

My transmission shifts much better now. The previous owner put in too much fluid, I'm glad I was able to fix that. It's good. The idea is to add a drain plug to the pan. Before changing the liquid and filters, the box switched with difficulty, but now it works perfectly.

I would not recommend buying this filter kit from this particular seller. The threads on the transmission cooler filter would not screw directly into the housing and broke easily. The drain filter did not come with the required plastic sleeve to seal the filter in place. This part is necessary for your transmission to actually shift into gear. The gasket is the only thing that worked properly in this kit.

I replaced the transmission filters by replacing the stock transmission pan with an aluminum secondary pan. This is a tedious job as there is no drain plug in the pan. The original pallets use a silicone seal that is difficult to open without making a huge mess. The filters looked just like the original filters and were easy to install after removing the pan. Fits my 2013 Ram 2500 Laramie 6.7 Cummins with 68RFE. I did it myself with a minimum of tools - it's easy. 8mm on Trans Pan screws and Torx T25 bit on filter. The truck still had filters initially - they were changed for the first time at 149,000km (other owners didn't change them before me. Shame on you).
