A+ Tweeter Woofer C-

I did a direct comparison between them and the factory woofer in a 2018 Civic Si. Factory woofers sound better. I would only buy them if I needed speakers for something. Although the tweeter is great. If you can only buy one tweeter, buy it. Keep some spares handy too, sounds great.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Hertz is known for sound quality

how these speakers sound, they've had them for 8 months with only one crossover fault that shorted one side but that's when they're amplified and I need to To be honest it could have been a crack from the amp that caused the failure. I bought another pair and only replaced one side for now and I have a backup in case it fails again or the other side fails.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I can say they are way better than these

Having two other sets of 6.5 inch components in this price range (Rockford and Polk) I can say they are much better than any of these, I can't complain about the money. That being said, I've come to the conclusion that $100 for a pair of car speakers just isn't enough for me. Next time I'm in the market I'll try to go higher. a few steps up in quality, I would definitely consider Hertz.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

I start the speakers from the main unit, I go to these speakers.

Sounds ok but overall disappointed with the purchase. Bought as the tweeters fit right into the dash of a Mercedes Sprinter but my Infinity Kappa components sounded better. The wiring at the crossover and tweeters is very cheap. For example 20 gauge wire; The factory speaker was thicker than this. For my setup I'm using the main unit, so it might be better if you drive it from the amp.

Pros
  • Great price

Terrible sounding tweeter

The mids sound very good but the highs sound terrible. Even at medium volume, they start crackling and give off a lot of static lime, and I only use 50 watts for this. Before anyone says it could be the installation, I know it's not just because my old speakers didn't sound the way they did, I'm using top quality OFC wiring with very clean connections and grounds. What's worse, I can't return them because they were installed.

Pros
  • nice touch
Cons
  • weight

Not very impressive

I was hoping the Hertz speakers would really stand out day and night compared to the JBL GX600 speakers I installed in my son's '97 4runner, but it didn't very. fundamentally a difference. Certainly not for the $170 I spent on it. Don't get me wrong, they sound good, bass is clear even from the Pioneer Avic 7200 main unit driving these speakers, mids are clean and not overwhelming, and there's a fully automatic mode too. - The setup from the head unit (with the right mic to set up the head…

Impressed by Hertz Dieci components!

Recently bought these for my work truck, a 2018 Dodge Promaster City. This van has factory 4" woofers in the doors, but with some home made 1.5" wood mounting rings, 6.5" woofers fit perfectly. The van also has factory tweeters in the A-pillars. Hertz tweeters fit with a little fine tuning. I had to peel the plastic layers off the factory tweeter bracket and enlarge the mounting hole with a hole saw, then reassemble and glue the mounting hardware together. Judging by the specs, reviews, and…
