Bought for our cat (yes we love to dress him up sometimes, especially around the holidays). It appears to be well made, has a nice texture and feel, and is fully adjustable so it's perfect for his plump little neck. It looks great on him and we love it (although he's not thrilled with it, but he'll get used to it). We also want to buy him a black one.

Pretty big! My cat is 8 pounds and she is on the lowest setting and she is still a little loose. He hates it, of course, but he looks fantastic. Seems well done. I think they meant medium sized dogs. I think you can put this on a dog but it doesn't break apart from the fact that the plastic clasp isn't bulletproof. I bought this for my tuxedo cat, but without the security of a tear-off collar, I just throw it on and snap some crazy owner photos of me and my little man. I think it's a good butterfly to dress up a person or animal in a fun way. I might have bought something else later, but I won't. Certainly not a total loss.
