Wrong size - replacement parts

Doesn't run properly, had to be rebuilt to make it work, pump housing was too big to fit tube properly, bike was stripped down, had to be picked up same day return. Didn't like that part is wrong

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Ideal for OEMs with electric fuel pumps

This is an exact OEM match. Installation is not very easy, you have to disassemble the pump. but it's also cheaper than the entire assembly sold by Can Am. Works perfectly, new 52psi regulator. inches without bleed. good job folks

Works great in 2013 Can Am Outlander 650

ATV wouldn't start so I checked the fuse and found it had blown. Replaced the fuse and it blew again. Can Am asked for $300 to replace the entire assembly with a float. I bought, just replaced the pump, it has been working perfectly for more than 600km.

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Upgrade Available

Swapped my gas gauge

The pump has been in for a week and works fine but since it got into my gas gauge it has gone bad. It doesn't show more than 3/4 tank when the tank is full and sometimes when I turn it on it says it's completely empty even though the tank is full. When I bought it I didn't understand what a cheap pump it was. I hope this lasts for a while.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No automatic

It's all in the setup

I had a hard time removing the stock pump from the transmitter housing, so I was able to install the new HFP-382-CA in my Can Am Commander Max. The first call to HFP wasn't very helpful, but I got a call back from their lead "techie" who gave me some of the best advice on OEM removal. We really had to look at a few photos to make sure we were okay with the procedure, but I really appreciate his enthusiasm and willingness to help me.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Clarity

It works! - Fuel pumps and accessories

Works great! 2014 Maverick XRSDPS worked fine for a few hours then lost power and died without warning restarted and died over and over again no codes nothing dealer wanted me to bring it in I'm sure it will turn me on little cost happiness, they only sell the entire transmitter unit for over $450.00. I took a chance hoping it would be fixed. It was easy to replace and as soon as I turned the key I heard the difference and knew the original pump had failed. If your Can Am is stuttering and notโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • Almost everything ok

2013 Canam 1000 Maverick XRS Fuel Pump Problem Solved

The original Canam pump blew a 5A fuse about 1 year ago so it will work with the 7.5A fuse. Last week started blowing at 7.5 amps, only worked at 10 amps. Not good! Checked fuel pressure on old pump, 39psi at idle and 18psi at full load. Started out hard and worked terribly once you got into it. The HFP pump arrived the same day. Fuel pressure was 45psi at idle and full load. The reinstalled original standard 5A fuse works great. The Canam service manual says the pressure should be 50psi +/- 1.
