I recommend for the price and cost

I thought there was a problem with the pump or the filter. I think there might be water in the gas. But I went ahead and replaced the pump, strainer and regulator. As a result, my ATV accelerated almost 4 miles per hour. Definitely made a difference in performance

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • There are problems

Fixes the freezing problem on my 2009 Polaris 550xp

Pretty easy home fix. Half the battle is getting to the fuel tank and removing it. Use caution when reinstalling the regulator bracket. Otherwise, it's a fairly direct replacement. So far it works great.

  • Handy article
Cons
  • There are some bugs

Great fit and quality.

This fuel pump was a great replacement for my Ranger fuel pump. Fit well and came with good instructions. Customer support follow up has been great. This is a great replacement for the OEM fuel pump because Polaris wants you to buy the entire fuel tank and fuel pump for $600.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Great Price

Pretty much an exact replacement

So I finally got around to installing this! Everything was pretty much an OEM replacement. The only thing I found wrong was the gasket. The gasket supplied with this kit is a flat gasket. Original O ring! I had to use the original o-ring as my RZR is set up to use it. I would recommend that the kit comes with an o-ring and not a flat gasket! Everything else was almost an exact replacement. I would recommend this kit but not the gasket!

Polaris Sportsman EFI Pump

I found that the fuel pump was getting power but it wasn't there so I ordered it. It replaces the pump within the pump assembly. I also had to use heat shrink tubing as my old wires had a crack in their insulation. Luckily I had some. Replaces the pump, order at the same time. The only thing to watch out for when reassembling is to see where the wires are coming from and proceed with the reassembly. And when you insert the pump, make sure that the "male" part of the pump is aligned and inserted

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Little things

Runs better than ever!

2010 800XP It looks like it's going off me with the power I have! The Ranger had an issue of not starting when warming up. I don't know if it fixed this problem, but it works better than ever. The idle is now in the same speed range. I've never reviewed a Polaris fuel pump (probably can't afford one), but I'm glad I went with this one. If you are having trouble, losing power, or want your motorcycle to run like new, install this fuel pump and change spark plugs. WOW! And a lifetime guarantee at

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Minor issues

The hardest part was removing the large black threaded ring.

Was easy to install, especially after watching some videos on U Tube. The worst part was removing the large black threaded ring holding the assembly in the tank, the large pliers worked to block the passage. I forgot to put the pressure regulator in, but having checked the pressure and it was to spec I won't be fighting the black ring to replace it anymore. I don't think I received the o-ring or missed it in the packaging, but the old one was in good condition so I reused it. Much better thanโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Low repairability

Does not fit into all Polaris offers

1 Star Rating Read This! The Polaris athlete has two equipment variants, the Quantum homepage says nothing about it. This pump for Polaris has a plastic electrical connector instead of two separate spades. My 2007 500 x2 was built on 6/2007. It has flat plugs. Quantum has this guy listed right below on their website page. Do yourself a favor, suck gas into your tank and catch an eyeball in there, you'll see two spaced apart wires, buy a 361 pump, you'll see a black plastic plug with wires going
