Worked for me on steering and suspension tools

Used to compress springs on a Jeep Gladiator lifter. They are a bit long but worked well and appear to be a quality tool. Be sure to put some lubricant on them before use. would recommend.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Small

Worked great Na/Nb Miata

Other types of spring compressors might fit between the coils of the spring in my 97 NA Miata and my 00 NB Miata, bought them to try and they worked great, got the cheap one is cheap but I found where others I've used in this price range snap.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Not sure

Keep looking, this is not what you need.

This is not hardened steel. The hooks flexed and even secured all four with a spring. I had to weld extensions to my fingers to make them work. Not recommended unless you are using them on very small car springs.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Some defects
