Perfect repair but cheap installer

Had to fix one of the threads on the valve cover on a 2004 Sportster 1200 and everything worked great. 4 stars because the insertion tool forks are broken. Luckily I had a thin needle nose to complete the repair.

Pros
  • Cutting tools
Cons
  • Some small things

Drill Bit - Scrap

It arrived quickly and worked essentially as advertised. The drill bent immediately. And I want the tap to cut the thread a little closer to the end of the hole. Like a second lower faucet. The threads appear to tighten as the screw deepens.

Pros
  • Combi Drill and Tap
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

The block seems fine. I used a different brand of heli coil.

Device appears normal. I have used other manufacturers' heli coil kits which were more comprehensive. I would have preferred the threaded insertion tool to the simple, thin and straight wand they sent and the shaft removal wand which is the inner diameter of the spiral coil instead of the thin one they sent.

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • No Power
