Description of πŸ”€ HHIP 3601 0511 Piece 16 18 Transfer - Ultimate Tool for Smooth Transfers

Convenient and economic combination of four sizes often used together. Set includes 1 solid handle and 24 screws (6 pieces of each size). More accurate than transfer punches. The fastest and most precise method of transferring threaded holes to mating parts. Great for tool and die work and in layouts.

Were OK for fasteners

Ok, shopping. The screws worked very well, but they are tall so you have to drive them pretty deep into the hole for an accurate transfer. The real issue I have is the case itself which is aluminum. If you screw them into tight holes, the aluminum socket may come loose. My purchase was a one hit deal and I had to drill through a couple of gears. I figured that would happen when I put them in because I need them for the stainless steel frame. No damage, no foul. I wouldn't recommend them for…

Pros
  • Includes 1 sturdy handle and 24 screws (6 of each size)
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

AMAZING HOW EASY IT MAKES THINGS

I used a power drill to drill 8 holes in 6.3/8" steel plate to create the Casting to cover and protect Aluminum body with uneven bolt holes for the two pieces of gear. This leaves me four extra plates, two of which we can add a platform to mount the tool. Time to measure bolt hole location. I have four right now Centering bits installed the holes into the four threaded holes in the case. While one person held the panel against the case, I tapped the first panel once with a hammer, drilled those…

Very good for the money. but had to send one back as defective.

I tested them on an aluminum project and they worked very well. The dots are pretty sharp and seemed to outlast a project and it looks like they have plenty of life left. The dots aren't perfectly centered, but close enough for what I did. maybe within .015", maybe less, but probably better than a threaded hole. The part of the handle that holds the screws is aluminum and appears to be painted black as I don't think it's anodized. The hexagonal tip at the end is made of steel and is pressed…
