Not used on the engine but as an air intake filter on a small glass bead nozzle. Prevents dirt from entering the cleaning chamber.

Not bad for a cheap filter. There was excess glue on the ends but I managed to get them off. Helps my son's ATV breathe much better.

THIS IS NOT A FILTER. This is a pre-filter, there is no protection against small particles in the block. It only holds larger items, but the dust-busting motor will drive through. I kept this item because it fit and I was able to add the existing foam filter and mount inside.

This is a perfect fit for my Yamaha Big Bear 350's carburetor. I was able to find an OEM air repair parts box, and I used to get by with that. I'm not sure if it can handle a lot of dust, but it's definitely better than nothing.

I was very disappointed with how short it was, I bought it for a Mikuni flatbore racing carburetor which I also bought from Revain. When I took it out of the box I knew it didn't have enough filter area to provide enough airflow for the carburetor, I never used it. I bought a UNI brand double thread air filter instead which works fine.
