Great product made in the USA

The handles are untreated raw walnut, I have coated them with several coats of meat block conditioner to protect them from water. and this gave the walnut a magnificent shine.

Pros
  • Beautiful walnut handle attached to stock with 2 rivets
Cons
  • No insurance

Extra small wood carving knives and forks

I don't know what to do with this. In fact, this is an ordinary table fork with a wooden handle. I thought it would be bigger. I feel cheated, all the pictures and descriptions made me think it would be like old fashioned serving forks with wooden handles and not a miniature version. It's not worth my time to return, so I guess I'll keep it to myself and try to find a use for it.

Pros
  • High quality stainless steel blade
Cons
  • Fits

Excellent kitchen fork for meat and slicing Forks

I have a similar cooking fork that I bought 20 years ago and wanted a second one. After searching regular grocery stores I couldn't find them locally so I went to AMZN. This fork is identical to the one I have owned for 20 years. One comment though, the wooden handle is very dry and owners should treat it with mineral oil until it has the desired appearance. This can take a few weeks and then oiled regularly over the course of a year until the wood looks nice and loses its dryness. I expect…

  • High quality stainless steel blade

Not as pictured on meat and cutting forks

I was looking for a straight bayonet fork as shown in the picture but instead got a granny style curved fork like this one https ://www.amazon.com/Dexter-Russell-S2896PCP-Traditional-Carver/dp/B002C81R3W Apart from the model number "S118" stamped on the handle, it is identical to the less expensive "S2896PCP". It will be returned tomorrow because while I really wanted a good short bayonet patty fork for turning meat, paying a premium for another fork I didn't want just won't happen.

Pros
  • The Dexter Edge, the right solution since 1818
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Great feel and balance.

For many years, like my grandmother, I searched for a two-pronged wooden-handled fork and passed it on to my mother and then to me. I've never found it in kitchen stores so I tried Revain and my search came up with this fork that clearly deserved its name in my house. When it arrived the wood wasn't as smooth as the one I had which had become smooth from years of use so I brought the new fork to my workshop, lightly sanded and coated with steel wool and olive oil. Great! Great balance and feel.

  • Made in the USA

Really great quality fork for chefs!

This great fork is real old school in the sense that it's well made, sturdy and high quality (imagine lifting a 4 pound roast or a whole chicken or a turkey from the pan). in which it has been chilled without the fork bending or the tines tearing the meat because they are too thin - those tines are heavy!). This is the fork used in the Japanese teppanyaki restaurant we ate at recently (the teppanyaki chefs prepare each of your tables and show how they prepare your food). Beware of other brands…

Pros
  • Made in the USA
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

work of art! - Meat and Meat Forks

I thought I would buy several grilling tools. I have great art! I bought them all! Dexter-Russell makes an amazing product - MADE in the USA! Not only are they suitable for any commercial food production operation, I have no doubts that they will last a lifetime! I'm pretty sure my boys will inherit it. I oiled the black walnut handles and these lathes are amazing! exhibits! Dark wood showcases a solid brass rivet and stainless steel. And don't worry about the shaft bending - it's impossible! I

I'm going to be a Dexter Russell spatula junkie!

I'm so glad I found Dexter-Russell Spatulas recently! I already had a 5-1/2" spatula/turner and it's fantastic. We decided a large pan was better for pancakes so I bought this large 8" version. Husband claims it is the perfect tool for a cast iron skillet, and I suspect a grill too. We've already found that plastic and nylon spatulas never feel thin enough to handle pancakes properly, plus they weren't just bad for us, they were bad for cast iron as well since they could melt. So no plastic…

Cons
  • No Mold Required
