DO NOT BUY THIS for my opinion

Don't waste your money on this. The heating element on mine didn't work. When I tried heating up to 240 it would only go up to 173 and stop. I am using my old heating element and it's working fine

Pros
  • Additive Manufacturing Products
Cons
  • The assembly process for the HICTOP Assembled Extruder Hot End can be complicated and time-consuming, requiring technical knowledge and expertise

So I got what was a mislabel one, 12v instead of 24v, and I wrote in my packaging feed back, how I was disappointed it appeared incompatible with my 24v printer (didn't know what issue was when I wrote). HICTOP contacted me through email, investigating their less then perfect comment, help me resolve it was not the 24v part and then proceed to send me correct part. They initiated all this. So I immediately ordered a $500 3D printer from them, because I saw that as the type of service I want…

Pros
  • 3D Printers
Cons
  • The 0.4mm nozzle size may not be ideal for users needing fine or precise detailed prints

Filament does not extrude evenly from replacement nozzle.

Heater works fine, but the filament does not extrude evenly. It is almost as if it pulses out instead of coming out smoothly. This is a replacement Hot End for my Hictop Prusia I3 which already has an identical nozzle on it. I ended up using the new heating element but the original nozzle since I could not get any decent print from this one.

Pros
  • Great product, easy to install.
Cons
  • The HICTOP Assembled Extruder Hot End is only compatible with RepRap 3D printers, limiting its use for individuals with other printer models

cheap junk: my feedback

Junk. Just like all their other products. I have purchased their printer, the leveling switch, and this nozzle. Everything has broken. do NOT buy from this company. Their support is terrible.

Pros
  • Thanks to its 12V 40W heater and NTC thermistor hotend, the HICTOP Assembled Extruder Hot End offers fast and efficient heating, which ensures that the hotend is always at the optimal temperature for printing. This reduces the likelihood of printing errors and ensures that your 3D prints are completed quickly and with precision
Cons
  • The HICTOP Assembled Extruder Hot End may not produce consistent quality prints, especially for beginners or those with limited experience in 3D printing
