I got this to keep our electronics as childproof as possible and it was well worth it! Not only is it a great solution for keeping kids and toddlers safe, but it makes your gaming console that much better, eliminating cables, hiding controllers (our controllers are mounted behind your TV) and freeing up space in your entertainment center! Necessary! It's also very stable, so don't worry about the PlayStation crashing.

Not very secure at all. If you mount the PS4 to the right and the mounting screw to the top, the PS4 will hang on the screw because the bracket will not touch the sides. If you turn it to the left (as shown in the product image) with the screw at the bottom, it at least doesn't wobble, but it still wobbles terribly. It has decent build quality, but it's overpriced. I just don't trust this $10 wall mount (which costs $30-$40) to hang my $300 PS4 a few feet off the ground.

I've been looking for HIDEit mounts for a long time. But I couldn't resist and bought this one. Super easy to install and can really clean up your console! The fact that it comes with two controller mounts for $40 was great! Installation took five minutes. I used masking tape, a small bubble level and a drill with a 5/32 bit for the pilot holes and a Phillips head, so the screws that came with it! This mount is to buy! The PS4 Slim bracket is excellent and very thin. It secures the PlayStation quite comfortably and I'm sure there won't be any problems unless the child tries to pull themselves up with it. Remote mounts, on the other hand, aren't specifically designed for a remote control, so they don't sit securely in the mount. Remote controls can easily slip off. We've found the HIDEit standard small and large boxes to be great for hiding surge protectors and other junction boxes. Super easy to install and place. Plenty of mounting hardware is included to securely mount both the PS4 Slim (or Pro if you're buying the Pro model) and up to two controllers in the kit.
