it works single board computer

I received the package and now I'm one step closer to the music player. The packaging is good, you don't have to worry about damage in transit

  • No soldering required, supplied as a kit. You just plug it into your Raspberry Pi, it conforms to the Raspberry Pi Hardware-Attached Top (HAT) specification.

Great RPi DAC not compatible with RUNEAudio

This is a great little HAT DAC for Raspberry Pi (3B in my case). Excellent sound and great performance. I also have a DAC Pro+. I returned the first one thinking it was defective as my Runaudio app didn't recognize this DAC2 but it did the DAC pro. However, it was software related since I downloaded HifiBerryOS and now it works like clockwork. Bought to have a second RPi to listen to through headphones. It can probably be customized, but it was assumed to be ready to use out of the box. But…

Pi = Great Streamer -- This DAC = just OK

I bought this DAC to try and build a cheap Roon endpoint. I'm a bit disappointed. I have another Pi that I connected an iFi Zen DAC to and the sound is incredible for small bookshelf speakers in the bedroom. I was hoping it would sound similar and have the benefit of a cheaper and smaller form factor, but I didn't. At first I was hoping to connect to an old B&W A5 speaker to replace the crappy AirPlay. There was so much noise from the whole facility that it just didn't work. I tried my…
