I really like this product. Not only does it fit better down the drain, it also sits properly without rotating on its own and blocking the drain. I need to buy a new strainer for the other side of the sink. I will buy this again.

This seller is determined to mislead customers and hide the fact that one of the three components in this product is made of plastic. It has a steel body, a rubber stopper and a plastic handle in the middle. Please be careful. When they call it "chrome" they're just talking about a cheap paint job. Like the last drain plug I bought with plastic parts, it won't last long. Back immediately.

Ever Flow 75111 has a simpler design and works great. It seals well and is easy: just rotate the post so that bottom lines up with the hole in the drain and slide down to engage the gasket.

Finding a replacement stopper for the sink was really difficult. Half of them don't work and the other half leak, so what's the point? I don't know why they get negative reviews at all. My previous plugs that came with the sink deteriorated in the rubber, the metal parts came loose and fell apart. We couldn't stop the water from seeping in when we filled the sinks with water. I have two for my double sink that I use to wash dishes several times a day; As we don't have a dishwasher. The basket has a rubber plug which is designed so it cannot be repositioned to allow water to drain out of the sink. We tried to get around this by rotating the basket in the drain so it was slanted from the ledge that was supposed to hold it securely in place, hoping the plug wouldn't break and clog the sink. I DON'T BELIEVE IN MANY PEOPLE THAT GIVE THIS CHARACTER A HIGH RATING. Apparently NONE OF THEM have ever seen or owned a decent strainer cap that works because this one doesn't. Judging by the packaging, it stops the water.
