Great tank strap. Our BCUs had velcro and I didn't bother with them. This greatly facilitated the installation of the tank.

Great replacement for the velcro straps that kept my tank from slipping off. These straps can be adjusted individually to have a very strong hold every time they are buttoned.

Perfect. In fact, I can't think of any criticism of this product. I work as a commercial diver and my equipment is being misused. These belts did not slip and showed no signs of significant wear or corrosion. Very happy with the product

But this! Don't apologize, don't listen to the bad reviews. You must have an old version. I bought in October 2020 and the version I received works great. Just as strong as any factory cam band but with the added ability to quickly detach from your BC without having to put it on a cylinder.

I have used several other brands of straps including Scubapro and Aqua Lung quick release straps. Not too impressed with other brands of quick release harnesses, but decided to give the Highland harnesses a try anyway. I wanted stainless steel buckles for added weight and durability. I love her. Good solid construction and flawless performance.

Excellent product from a trusted manufacturer. The shaft is used for mounting diving bottles with side mounting, as well as for mounting on the back. Just long enough for Steel 100 and up. They need to be trimmed for small bore cylinders like 50's. I've used them in fresh water, salt water, warm water, and under ice with excellent performance and virtually no discoloration, not to mention corrosion. Also a good replacement for the plastic buckles found on most BCs these days.

These straps are definitely well built and will hold your tank securely in place, but that's about all they have. They're also very bulky, they're heavy, and they combine the worst properties of clamp straps and quick-release buckles into one system. It actually takes longer to install/remove the tank than regular cam straps and much longer than quick release buckles. They are also more difficult to set up than any other type.
