Get what you pay for.

You definitely get what you pay for here. First, they are shipped in a padded envelope so you can imagine what the pins and plugs looked like after UPS/FedEx/USPS got their hands on them. Luckily I was able to straighten them without breaking them, which was a trick because the contacts are softer than regular connector pins. Second, the terminal block pins for Relay 1 make contact with the USB chassis and tie the NO, NC, and COM pins together. Third, half of the terminal block contacts weren't

POOR build quality, can't trust it

UPDATE: The seller contacted me to see if I need a replacement but I've already moved on to another solution. Glad you followed them - plus 1 star for that. I can say that the item pictured with curved pins is an accurate representation of what you will receive. Mine had a couple of bent pins, which is a bit understandable, but those pins also had solder where it shouldn't be, and all the hand-soldered connections on the underside of the board had solder residue that shouldn't have. be there…

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Not sure

Solder connections Pin Arduino USB connector

In general, everything is fine. However, it is important to note that if you slide the relay board all the way to the Arduino. All three solder connections for Relay 1 make contact with the Arduino's USB header. If you want to use this relay I would put some kind of insulator between the USB connector and the solder joints. This board will still work fine for me, but I think this is an important detail to pay attention to due to the safety issues this can cause.

Pros
  • Single-board computer
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Poor design and quality, look elsewhere

Should have read the reviews. quality is bad. The pins are not standard thickness and bend easily. All were damaged, most likely during packaging. The box looked ok. Solder connections land on the USB connector, causing a short circuit. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because it technically works and for $7 would be enough to dyno test a prototype, but I had to manually bend all the pins back to get them straight and I would have to isolate the USB port. I will not buy again, I will look…

Pros
  • With relay output status LED
Cons
  • Available in white only

Second, the terminal block pins for Relay 1 make contact with the USB chassis and short the NO, NC, and COM pins together. Third, half of the terminal block contacts weren't even soldered to the board. After I fixed everything, everything turned out to work fine, time will tell.
