This is the first item I have bought from hitletgo and am not happy with it. The ground on the programming pins is not connected. Instead, you must connect the programmer's ground to the ground pin on the circuit board. I have some of them from two different vendors and the software base on them is correct. The lack of a platform for programming makes their use inconvenient.

As others have said: ground not connected to programming pins. I remember reading about this when I was originally looking for STM8, but when I bought this pack I forgot. Surprisingly this worked when both STlink and USB were connected, but not when only ST-Link was connected. As it turns out the ground pin on the programming port is not connected, it is on the local ground fill which has two vias that should be connected to the main fill, but the vias aren't even drilled and are clearly not…
