Description of Hillman Group 43951 Adjustable Stainless

Clevis pins are used to secure a clevis to a load by slotting through the holes on the prongs of the clevis. Commonly used on hitches and to replace bolts or rivets at connection points that require quick assembly/disassembly. Ideal for industrial applications. Universal clevis pins feature holes down the side of the pin to accommodate cotter pins at any available hitch point. Parts feature a stainless steel finish for improved corrosion resistance. These universal clevis pin variants measure 1/4" wide x 2" long and feature a stainless steel finish. 6 pieces per retail package.

They contain nothing Stainless steel

To save time I ordered a 1/4" x 2" stainless steel with a hole and a 1/4" x 2" adjustable stainless steel for a more unusual one permanent installation in the center. Console Boat Means "Stainless Steel" was crucial. When they received both they did not look like the photo and looked too much like galvanized carbon steel to be trustworthy. Single hole stainless steel pins hardly stick to the magnet. However, they will stick to a magnet like the typical carbon steel screws and screwdriver bits…

Pros
  • Great for industrial applications
Cons
  • Expensive
