Hitachi 371450 Switch: Unparalleled Performance and Reliability Review

The switch does not work at all. I used a multimeter to confirm and it's a full lemon, just like the original. Please let me return this item and get my money back.

This switch actually fits and looks the same but is wired differently than the original switch. Just swapping the wires will not work - the contacts are soldered in a different order.

Problem not fixed, still not working. Send the tool to an authorized repair center that will not get the saw to work even after installing all the new parts. Replaced everything from the switch to the motor, the saw still doesn't work.

works fine, but the wiring is different. See my photos for the three correct connection methods. The new runs under the numbers 1,2,3,4,7,8. To connect it properly, repeat the original switch, except toggling the gray and brown wires. Hope that helps. In my case the problem wasn't the switch but the heatsink/slow start. After I connected the new one, it worked beautifully.
