I love Hiya Hiya knitting needles. Twisting the cables drives me nuts and seems to happen with every brand I've tried. I heat them with a hair dryer (not where the string connects to the needle) and then tie them to a meter stick with a rubber band so they can rest while they're still warm. These extended cords no longer twist.

This is probably my favorite brand of knitting needles I've tried so far. I've used them in multiple sizes and made everything from socks to shawls and hats. The sharp ends are just great and the cords have smooth attachments to the needles and don't have much kink from twisting in the packaging.
