Works great on my CL-17. I can definitely say there was no fogging when riding in the 30's where the pinlock lens was installed. For my CL-17 (2XL) I used the top grade and it fitted properly and created a complete seal.

As you know, after a while, Pinlock inserts become harder to see over the years and cannot be properly cleaned with soap and water according to directions. Replacement is the only viable option. Well this replacement fits my HJC CL-16 helmet well but note that the new pins with the new insert (which they used) were not included. So grab the pens when you need them. use them again.

Perfect fit for my CL-17 helmet (HJ-09 visor). And what's the difference when you're out and about in cool weather. No more sweating while sitting at a red light. The only thing I noticed was a small reflection from the visor due to oncoming traffic, only when driving at night. It doesn't bother my vision at all as it's right at the top of my field of vision, but it's worth mentioning.

I have a 17 pin HJC CL lock ready and as others have said I have issues with the underside near my mouth when moisture gets into the visor. It's almost out of my line of sight, but it reaches my nose on longer rides on cold mornings. I have read all the instructions and watched the installation video. I sat down and switched with no luck. I would say it's still better than nothing.

I liked it at first. Bought in April 2020, used a lot since then. In January 2021, they noticed the windshield was fogging up and the locking pin was stuck on the windshield. Worked great until it started sagging, now it's unusable because the seal is gone. I don't want to pay $30 a year to avoid fog. Now let's see what other options there are. I take good care of my helmet so I know it's not the result of neglect.

What a difference on a cold morning! Before installing this, I could easily fog my shield with a single breath. That meant I rode with the guard open, but even then I struggled. After installing the Pinlock shield I had absolutely no tarnish in my line of sight (quite a lot of tarnish around the Pinlock shield but not on it). The only downside I have is that the pinlock screen can show light (not completely invisible) in direct sunlight, but that's negligible and worth the trade-off.

My first impression is disappointment. I installed a pin lock lens on an HJC Symax 3 helmet. So far I've experienced unexpected fogging of my face shield under my left nostril. Temperatures were in the 30's (degrees). The problem is that once fog seeps between the lens and the screen, it's not that easy to remove. Fogging is what it does and was my top priority but I see obvious differences in plastics. I almost thought there was another clear plastic sheet to peel off, but that wasn't really the case. Works great. It was also a big headache to stick it on my helmet. It took about an hour to put it on after watching tons of video tutorials where they just put it on without any adjustments. It required a lot of adjustments and it was damn hard to adjust the pins on my helmet (HJC CL-17). I even scratched the visor a bit when the pliers slipped off the pin.
