Good nozzle for gasless welding

Works great! This kept my tips from clogging when using the gas shield. I was able to see better and stay away from the weld without guessing in tight corners.

Pros
  • Works great for me

Works well with nozzles

This is for cored wire welding so this part protects the gas nozzle that the tip screws into. This is a consumable item and only lasts when welding thicker materials. If it weren't for my poor skills, I wouldn't have to make substitutions as often as I do.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Minor issues

Worked great with the Handler 140

Decided to try this accessory to teach my son how to weld, he was having trouble positioning the gas nozzle. This attachment helped him see his wire much better, we use flux cored wire due to the difficult and expensive procurement of welding gas and the fact that he burns spools of wire while going about his new hobby.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Empty

Boy did that advice get eaten!

I was amazed at how quickly this tip not only corroded but areas larger than bb seemed to be eaten right out. I decided to make do with a large brass nozzle rather than try again. I think for those rare occasions when you just need to pull up at a sharp angle for a weld, this comes in handy and can come in handy as a disposable accessory when you're not trying to get more than a job or two.

Yes it's an attachment for welders and accessories

I really like the functionality of the Hobart snap on and release attachments. Your wire feeder is solid, as is the lead and trigger assembly. Heck, I can't tell you how many times I've had to fiddle with the trigger and Lincoln jets. Much better than Hobart's design in my opinion. Unlike the gas nozzle, it is made of a different material that resists spatter adhesion a little better. That being said, if you use bait gel all the time, you're not going to be replacing it any time soon.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Trade in available

Not recommended, wish they would make one of some of the.

I had vertical and horizontal welding for about 1 week. I made a custom grid for my uncle and when I boiled vertically the slag from the flux core built up on it and started to melt and destroyed the nozzle. Now half the nozzle is only a week away from welding. Not recommended, I wish they made it out of some kind of metal, I don't understand why they make it out of plastic when we are working at very high temperatures.

Pros
  • Welders
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Hobart 770487 Gasless Flux Nozzle

This nozzle was a perfect fit for the H10 MIG torch on my Hobart 140 Handler. The spout is made of black bakelite with a brass inner lining. It fits over the gun tip like the MIG nozzle and stays securely in place. It has a lip covering shielding gas holes which are not needed when using flux cored wire and tend to clog with debris. It also makes it easier to measure the length of wire protrusion, which is usually longer when using flux core to prevent the wire from sticking to the contact tip.

Pros
  • Nozzle
Cons
  • No Auto

Made of plastic. The Best Arc Welding Equipment

This nozzle is used for cored wire welding with your Hobart Model 125-210 Arm. I have a Hobart Handler 210 which I was happy to buy from Revain. The large bore is .5625" and the smaller bore is .2695" for an overall length of 1.4785". Spatter in the MIG gas nozzle. The downside is that it's made of high-temperature resistant plastic. If it falls to the ground, it may become unusable. I will update this review when I use it more often. Bottom picture with three nozzles in a row, left to right…
