Ideal for safety

Perfect for welding helmets, the Hobart replacement headgear is a top quality product. The installation went smoothly.

Pros
  • Personal protective equipment
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required

Perfect fit for Miller Hobby-Pro

Perfect fit for my Miller Hobby-Pro helmet and better than the original that came with the helmet. Install as easy as possible.

Pros
  • welding helmets
Cons
  • Not bad

I had to tinker with a Dremel

The quality matches the price. Too bad that every brand is slightly different. If you own a Hobart helmet or want to modify like most welders do then this is great value for money.

Pros
  • Security
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

A worthy replacement for a cheap lens hood.

Good replacement for my cheaper helmet, not Hobart but fits. Not a lot of adjustments for me but it works fine for my spare helmet. It will probably work better on a Hobart or other better range hood.

Pros
  • Headguard
Cons
  • thin

Bought to replace a cheap round drill head

Everything seems fine. Feels light, but maybe that's a good thing. I didn't buy this for the Hobart helmet. I bought this to replace a hat on a cheap auto-darkening welding helmet (NEIKO Tools). This Hobart has a 5/8" square bore. A cheap helmet has a 9/16" round bore. I modified my round holes with a couple of small wire cutters to "cut" the square hole and then lined it with filed down to size with a flat file.Note: You will need to use the side of the file to cut a small notch in the center…

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Reliability
