What I was looking for was a large reel for my welder, not a hand coil gun. Decided I needed a 10lb roll, not a 2lb small roll for my splicer. Guess I'll just save it for the future and order a big roll.

I have used a 2lb Hobart cored wire spool on my Nordic MIG welder twice. Both times I was a bit disappointed. I have found that the Lincoln brand and the cheap Vulcan brand sold by HF work much better. Hobart wire spatters and smokes excessively, making it difficult to see on long welds. It also doesn't seem to penetrate as well as the other brands I've mentioned and tends to have occasional kinks in the reel that are difficult to work around.
