Seems strong. I want to install under a counter I built in my workshop. I don't have a previous pull out shelf to look at. I'm very frustrated because I don't have any instructions on how to install it. Nobody came with him. Hoping to install over the weekend I didn't know what to do with it.

They are thick steel of excellent quality. Unfortunately there are no instructions included, 2 threaded screws are missing and for some reason it seems to be tipping down at the back. Also, it would be much better if the connecting struts were an inch or two longer. There is hardly any space for my keyboard. maximum ground clearance 2.5 inches.

worked great at first but after over a year they are very loose and roll off too easily My keyboard is always trying to rolling away from me as I type. You have no idea how many typos I had to correct to write this. You hold the keyboard and everything is fine. The slide locks that are supposed to hold the drawer open don't work that way anymore well. it's a constant struggle.

Nice replacement for my old plastic tray under the desk keyboard that was always flexible. I made a shelf from an oak board, now it's very durable. However, I give a few stars because of a bug. When fully extended there is a small latch to keep the rails extended and provide some resistance to the shelf sliding back too easily. A little more lateral play than I would like. photo I knew that before I bought it, so I'm not giving it another star. As others have pointed out, there is only 2.5 inches of travel, even with the maximum height adjusters. I'll probably make some wood studs to get a little more spacing. I didn't lack any equipment.
