Cap was ok but the gasket manufacturer sucks. It doesn't seem to dry out and oil is still seeping through even after 24 hours of storage.

Exact replacement. That's right, the binder is quite liquid. Make sure you use the brush to cover the entire surface before putting it in, otherwise you'll end up with leaks I've found :(.

Had to redo a few times. Oil will corrode hardening Hondabond. I liked that the head cover says Honda instead of OHC. It is recommended to leave the mower in the tilted position overnight after installation.

I probably received a defective product. The seal did not stick despite more than sufficient degreasing. Allow more than 2 days to heal. Oil was leaking everywhere including the valve cover. waste of time.

Hondabond has received a lot of negative feedback. but it's thin and runny compared to other carrier material and I wasn't sure. After using it, I was surprised at how incredibly sticky and sticky it is. I won't use anything else and I understand why they use it.

I bought this kit because my Honda mower started leaking oil out of the valve cover. With Honda Bond I can't get it to seal no matter what I do. Disappointing because of all the cleaning and preparation. I'll try a different sealant.

5 stars for headgear and 2 stars for Hondabond. After adjusting the valves on my Honda lawn mower, I replaced the head cover with these; Original part, fits perfectly. Big. After two days, look at the mower and you will see a puddle of oil where it is leaking from under the replacement cover. Remove the cap, remove the Hondabond, reapply a new coat of Hondabond and this time there is no leak. Things are dirty. Will be looking for a Permatex product for my next replacement.
