Good original Honda filter

These filters are a little shorter than non-original filters, which I really appreciate. Changing inside and out is much easier than struggling with higher end non-OEM replacement filters. On my Honda Ridgeline there just isn't much clearance between the filter mount and the hanging part under the filter. The only downside to these filters is the price. But hey, these are actually Honda filters.

In my opinion this is a Fram OCOD clone.

Honda 15400-PLM-A02 is a Blue Fram Extra Guard Oil Filter. I don't like them because of the cardboard or flimsy plastic endplates used on the media. I assume Honda specified a better carrier in larger numbers. I have to trust that it works well. Honda 15400-PLM-A01 was a higher quality filter. I will most likely switch to a Mann+Hummel product when I'm done with it.

Cons
  • High Price

Not much different from A01

This filter replaced A01. There is a video where they cut A01 and A02 and compare them side by side. Both filters should work equally well. No major differences that could affect performance. Beware of some of those mechanics who, without any major remarks or claims, call this a cheap or inferior quality filter compared to the A01. They talk their ass. Both filters are Honda specifications.

Cons
  • I won't say anything

Exactly what it says on the box

These Honda Oil Filters are Genuine Honda Filters. I don't know of any other place that will sell you a filter, Honda garages want to do all the work and charge you for it outdoors. You can do it yourself and still get the quality you are looking for to keep your car running. I have placed orders in this store before and have always received my orders in a timely manner. If my car keeps moving, so do my commands. I enjoyed doing business with these people.
