🔥 Honda Fuel Pump Assembly (Model: 16700-Z0J-003) - Efficient & Reliable Performance Review

Husquvarna tiller with rear teeth. The store wanted $80 for labor and $20 for parts. I fixed it myself for less than $20. Quite a bit of disassembly to replace the pump. This was due to the construction of the drawbar. The fuel pump consisted of 2 screws and 3 hoses. Tiller fired immediately.

All along I thought the problem was with the carburetor but after changing the carburetor the pressure washer would not work unless the throttle was fully closed and then it increased dramatically. I suspect the extra vacuum from the choke when pumping fuel. Either way, this fuel pump was an easy fix; Loosen the clamps, remove the old one, mount the new one, tighten the clamps and pull the starter. The pressure washer works like new.

Perfect fit for my 1998 Honda electric washing machine. Works as expected. I had to remove the airbox, fuel tank and carburetor to get to the bottom bolt holding the fuel pump. My short Phillips screwdriver was too long for the job and I didn't have a cranked Phillips screwdriver. As a result, the installation took longer than expected. Consider purchasing a carburetor gasket kit when replacing the fuel pump. I reused mine and crossed my fingers when I ran it. They persevered.

Installation was straightforward, although I added nylon ties to secure the fuel lines to the pump assembly. Tractor performance has certainly improved thanks to the new parts. I bought this to replace the vacuum fuel pump on my Suzuki King Quad LT400. This was based on a YouTube video I watched that said it would be a perfect replacement and much cheaper than a Suzuki part. I had to make a mounting plate because the holes didn't line up with the Suzuki mount. The first problem I had with this part was that it had no markings regarding gas flow. seems to be working fine. In general, this is a good replacement for the expensive Suzuki model.
